I'm not sure
what the punishment is for being a bad bad blogger, but I deserve whatever it is. My only excuse is that since my last post I have been working on
Heather (sister) Kitty Pi (finished but not yet felted)
Malora - Booga Bag (finished but not yet felted)
Mary (Mike's mom) ankle socks (YEAH! heel turned on one, it was very exciting!)
This is what I have left
Mary - fuzzy slippers, other ankle sock, cable hat (yes she gets more than one thing...we also have to buy her a chiminea. I think that is the name anyway, one of those small little fire pit chimney things for outside)
Marcy - (Mike's sister) cable headband
Grandpa - cable hat and cable scarf
Mom - tank top - she doesn't wear anything else
Dave (brother in law) tie
Pete (Mike's brother in law) new ski hat b/c Mike stole the one I was going to give him
Mike (Mike's semi-estranged, but only sometimes, father) - beanie
Christmas FO's - sort of
Grandma - caplet
Marcy - Chinese charm purse - still needs handles
Shea (Mike's other sister, they are twins) Chinese charm purse - still needs handles and cable headband
Other Dave (Marcy's husband) Jcrew hat and scarf
Pete (Shea's husband) - quick knit scarf
We always have to get Mike's family more than one thing....I'm not sure why this tradition didn't end after they all turned 30, but it didn't. The awful thing is that I still feel like its not adequate. We will still probably by them stocking stuffers. Yep that's right, stocking stuffers for 30 year olds.
Zach (12 year old brother) I have no clue I will probably give up and by him a violent Xbox/Gamecube whatever the hell he has game, no wait that is my grandma's job. Last year, or the year before, she gave all the boys Grand Auto Theft 4, or maybe it was 3, in any case it was the number one most violent game that year. Go Grandma.
Sam (14 year old sister) Some of you have met her - fellow knitter and everthing she wants she makes for herself.
Money will probably work the best for these two, I do believe that is the teenagers favorite gift.
The bright side is I am not going to Prescott the weekend, which means more time to knit. Of course, it also means I don't get to go to the Prescott yarn shops.
Still no camera. One of the other reasons, but not an excuse, why I haven't posted, I feel like my posts are naked without pictures. What was the world like before blogs and digital camera's *sigh*
